Fishing :: Fishing Report

June 19, 2008
The offshore winds have started to breakup and we have even seen multiple days of warm blue water that has brought the dorado and the sails in early this year. January through March turned in some record days for SANCHO as yellowfin tuna moved through like we’ve never seen before. Huge pods of bait, bonito, birds, and yellowfin underneath – TEXTBOOK!

This year’s tuna were more than double the size of previous years and we had many days boating double digit yellowfins. Its a good thing when 20lb double hookups become the norm. Join us over the next 6 months as sailfish and marlin season turns on! Dorado and wahoo will no doubt fill the coolers in the upcoming months. Inshore the rooster bite also turns on – 50lb roosterfish on a live bluerunner – add that to your “caught it” list!

All billfsih are catch and release. Check out some of this years photos online to see what you have been missing. Let Local Treasure International show you the way to fisherman’s paradise.
